The aim of running the Schools is to educate the children according to the modern standards of school education coupled with the best of Indian traditions. The admission to the Schools is open to all boys and girls.

The mission of D.B.N is to focus on four skills Viz., service, skill, sport and study. D.B.N accentuate and cultivate the development of thinking skills reflection, ideation, innovation and provides adequate opportunities to its students to hone these skills. Further school learning model is based on recognizing and identifying the potential inherent in each child and then leveraging a series of teaching tools and initiatives to elicit the best from the students in terms of knowledge, skill, development and leadership. The Dewan family of J & K State started a High School at Eminabad.

DBN Amarvilla School celebrated 50 years of excellence in 2013

Centre of Excellence

Director of the Centre of Excellence (COE), has a team of visiting faculty members who help deliver quality in education. The COE supports all the DBN Trust schools in their development and training, as a research and training institution. The COE works with the DBN schools to build a professional learning community and delivers the Professional Development Programme (PDP) for school staff.
