The Investiture Ceremony of DBN AMARVILLA School Talab Tillo for the academic session 2024-2025 was held with great pride and dignity in a special ceremony at the School Multi-Purpose Hall.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Maj Gen SK Sharma, AVSM (Retd),Board Member, MIER Group of Institutions, Board Member, DograOrganizations Group for Responsive Action (DOGRA). The son of soil, is aversatile orator, motivationl speaker and a social influencer. Other dignitariespresent on the occasion were Mr Rajendra Kakkar manager Trust, Mr DarshanLal Sharma, Asstt managerTrust. It was also a proud moment for the parents of the newly elected Prefect council who were also invited for the prestigious Ceremony and felt elated to witness their ward being conferred with badges.
The Chief Guest along with the special guests were escorted with the guard ofhonour, the proud NCC cadets, Ms Tamanna Koshle along with Ms. Soniashar. The Principal Ms Ranju Malhotra in her welcome address, welcomed thechief guest Rtd Maj Gen S K Sharma and the proud parents and apprised themabout the steps taken during election process and how all the candidatesfollowed them in a very disciplined manner. The guests were welcomed by theprincipal with the planter keeping the school’s tradition of ‘GOING GREEN’. The lamp was lit by the present dignitaries to signify the removal of darknessand seek the permission of goddess Saraswati to begin the programme. Groupof students connected the audience and left them captivative by presenting aDogri folk dance to welcome them all . The elected Leaders were conferred with badges & sashes by Honorable Chief Guest, Manager Trust, Asstt. Manager Trust and Principal.
Master Sparsh Gupta as Head Boy, Master Anmol Wadhera as Junior HeadBoy, Ms Marasim Suri as Head Girl, Ms Aradhya Chouhan as Junior Head Girl,Master Mitul Sharma as Sports Captain, Master Deepak Kumar as Discipline Prefect, Master Nilesh Wadhwa as CCA Prefect, Master Hazik as Junior CCA Prefect, Master Anurag Dev Singh as Assembly Prefect and Master Harshul Sharma as Junior Assembly Prefect followed by Ms Shine Gupta as Sapphire House Captain, Master Vibesh Singh Parihar as Ruby House Prefect, Master Sumant Kusmakar as Emerald House Captain and Ms Maitree Dewakar as Topaz House Captain.
The Investiture Ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the schoolconsigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability, the principal Ms Ranju Malhotra made the Prefect Council take the pledge to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities to hold the school motto "Duty Determines Destiny' in high esteem.Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Rtd Maj Gen S K Sharma,congratulated the elected members and advised them to be honest whileperforming their duties. He emphasized that they should become the rolemodels for other students. The Chief Guest also motivated the newly electedcouncil to remain grounded with high aspirations in life. He expressed the hopethat all the members would work for the betterment of the school.
