*DBN Amarvilla School* , showcased its highly anticipated *Inter-House Debate Competition* for Classes *IX-XII* on 6th of May 2024. The event showcased the impressive talents of our students as they engaged in thought-provoking debates on pertinent topics. The competition aimed to foster critical thinking, public speaking skills, and teamwork among our students. The competition involved active participation from four houses within the school: Emerald, Sapphire, Topaz and Ruby. Each house was represented by two members, one in favour of the motion, one against it.

The topics of the competition were – 1. Social media has improved human communication.
2. Technology is creating more jobs than it eliminates.

The debaters put forward their views confidently and were extremely well-researched about the topic.

The judges gave their valuable feedback to the speakers to guide them to perform better in the future. The event was a great learning experience and truly a memorable one.
