A Special Assembly on ‘BUDDHA PURNIMA’ was conducted by students of Grade III & IV. The Assembly began with School prayer and headed with a talk about importance of BUDDHA PURNIMA. The assembly included the news headlines and the thought of the day based on the teachings of Buddha. Students also presented the amazing facts about Buddha Purnima. In the end students presented a skit to demonstrate ‘Eight fold Path’ which consist of eight practices : right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness and right “ Samadhi” to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha and his teachings.The high-spirited assembly inspired everyone and was greatly applauded by one and all.
