The students of Grade V conducted the today’s morning assembly on a very special day-‘**MOTHER’S DAY’. **The assembly started with the Gayatri mantra, followed by thought of the day and a Speech on motherhood. Students shared beautiful thoughts about how a mother is special in everyone’s life! A beautiful acrostic poem prepared by students was read out. It gave us an insight into the lovely feelings embedded deep inside their hearts. This was followed by a short skit on the importance of mother day.The Assembly concluded with a heart touching Hindi song ‘Maa, tu Rani maa’ which touched the emotional chord of one and all present there. Overall the assembly was presented well by the students with a beautiful message on why and how one needs to support and love one’s Mother.
